Chelsea & Walter's Dark and Moody Wedding in Salado

It is always exciting to be a part of a friend's wedding! Chelsea and Walter are good friends of ours so it was fun to be a part of their wedding. Unfortunately I got COVID the week before their wedding. I was so sad to miss their wedding day! I am so thankful to have wonderful assistants who can do a fabulous job event without me there. Mariah and Alicia did an excellent job!

Chelsea's wedding had a dark and moody vibe. She chose black with jewel tone accents for her color palate. For table decor she did a burgundy runner with hand laid greenery and candles. She also used black plates and emerald green napkins. Everything came together so well and looked great in the venue with all of the lights down low. I love the dark and moody vibe.

Each of Chelsea's bridesmaids wore a different color dress and they looked fabulous! I love these girls, they are so fun and such sweet friends. They also totally nailed the serious look.

Chelsea's grey dress was gorgeous. I have never seen a grey wedding dress before, but it was beautiful! Chelsea looked amazing. I loved her bridal look... the crown, the dress, the dark lip color. It was all amazing. So beautiful.

Walter went for the all black look and he looked great. Walter is in a punk band and has his own record label, the all black suite totally fit him. I love an all black suite, it always looks so good! Their couple's portraits turned out so well.

They had their friend as their ceremony officiant and they got married on the deck at The Venue by Inn on the Creek.

They had a dessert bar and grazing table catered by their friends who are in the process of opening their own bakery and cafe! Weird Doughs Bakery has such great desserts and they are awesome people.

It was so disappointing to miss out on their wedding, but we are so happy for them! It really is special to get to be involved with the wedding of some of our good friends. Congrats to Walter & Chelsea!
